What to expect:

During the consultation, your provider will inspect and touch the areas you are concerned with and determine the proper dose for you. She will clean and perhaps mark the areas for injecting.

Sensitivity and tenderness can last several minutes after injections, and you can expect swelling. Sensitivity and numbness can last for several weeks. 

It’s ok to take Tylenol for the discomfort, but avoid massaging or icing the area. Follow up will be scheduled in 6 weeks for additional treatments as needed.
